Vivio Technologies is not collocated. We own and run our own
data center with our own lines and our own equipment. Take

Fully Air Conditioned
 Anyone
who's worked with servers for any amount of time knows that
the #1 threat to hardware reliability is heat. That's why
Vivio technologies spared no expense by installing a 3.5-Ton
air conditioning unit at our facility. We've taken every precaution
to ensure that your servers are kept cool and reliable.
APC Battery Backup
 While
cities usually do a wonderful job at keeping the lights on,
we all know that nothing is ever 100% sure. That is why Vivio
Technologies invests heavily in APC Battery Backups for all
our servers. We want to take every precaution to ensure that
your servers remain fully powered and functional - even in
the event of power spikes, dips, or outages. With APC Battery
Backups, your servers get nothing but the cleanest power possible.
Natural Gas Power Backup
In the rare event that power should fail for an extended period
of time, Vivio Technologies employs an environmentally friendly
way of generating back-up power. Our Onan generators are powered by
clean, natural gas, and can power our entire data-center for as long
as necessary. When city power dies, it only takes a couple minutes
(which is covered by our battery backups) to switch over to our
enterprise-level power generator systems. In addition, our power back-up
systems are tested weekly to make sure that power will be there when you
need it. That means that your sites and servers will remain online,
even in the rare event of a major power outage.

Technologies understands that any single point of failure
is a network weak spot. That is why we invested many thousands
of dollars into a powerful, fully redundant Cisco 7500 series
router with all the trimmings. This means that should any
one part of the router fail, the router will continue to do
it's job while we replace the damaged component. The packets
must flow!
Fully Redundant Internet Connections
Telecommunications
companies can have their problems just like the rest of us.
That is why Vivio Technologies invests thousands of dollars
every month for separate Internet Connections through multiple
providers. If anything should happen to one of our connections,
we want to be sure that there is always a back-up plan that
we can rely on. We consider full BGP routing essential to
the stability of our network. That is something our customers
can count on.
